Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how PowerKit (“the app”) handles information on your Android device. PowerKit is a local toolkit. It does not require an account and is not a social network.

1. Summary

• Most tools work entirely on your device.
• We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
• The app does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
• Permissions are requested only when you open a tool that needs them.
• You can refuse a permission and continue using other tools.

2. Information processed on the device

Depending on the tools you use, PowerKit may process:

• Camera images for QR scanning, document scan, magnifier, OCR, and similar tools.
• Microphone audio for voice recording, microphone tests, and optional call capture that you enable.
• Screen content after you confirm Android’s screen-capture prompt, for screenshots, recording, and on-screen OCR.
• Location for GPS tests, prayer times, Qibla, and sharing a location that you choose to send.
• Approximate motion / step data for sensor tools that use activity recognition.
• Nearby device identifiers such as Bluetooth or NFC, only inside those tools.
• Phone state when a recording tool needs to observe call status that you turned on.
• Notes, lists, and preferences stored in app storage on the device.
• Media files you save to the gallery or app folders.

This information is used to operate the tool you opened. PowerKit does not sell it and does not use it to build advertising profiles.

3. Information that may leave the device

PowerKit uses the internet only when a feature you start needs a network request. Examples include:

• A speed test that you run.
• Currency rates that you request.

Those requests go to the public service used by that tool. PowerKit does not attach your name or an account to those calls. If you share a file, a location, or copied text through Android’s share sheet, that sharing is controlled by you and the app you pick.

4. Permissions

Android shows a system prompt before sensitive access. Typical permissions and why they exist:

• Camera — scan, magnify, OCR, and camera tests.
• Microphone — voice notes, audio tests, and optional call-related capture.
• Location — maps, GPS diagnostics, prayer times, and location sharing that you start.
• Notifications — timers, prayer alerts, charge alarm, and live sessions.
• Exact alarms — on-time prayer or reminder alerts if you enable them.
• Display over other apps — optional floating toolbox and overlays you turn on.
• Modify system settings — brightness or related controls when you grant write-settings access.
• Nearby devices / NFC — connectivity tools.
• Physical activity — step or motion tools.
• Foreground services — keep flashlight, recording, or capture running while you leave the screen.

You can revoke permissions in Android Settings. Features that need a revoked permission will stop until you grant it again.

5. Call and screen capture

Call-related recording and screen capture are user-started. Android may show a consent or capture dialog first. Recordings and screenshots are stored on the device unless you export or share them. You are responsible for following local law before recording other people or calls.

6. Optional device policy

Some privacy controls can open Android system screens. Advanced Device Control, if you enable it, may use Android’s device-admin or device-owner APIs on a device you manage. That mode is optional and is not required to use ordinary tools.

7. Children

PowerKit is a general-purpose utility app. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data retention and deletion

Notes, preferences, and files created by the app remain on the device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling PowerKit removes app storage. Media you saved to the system gallery may remain until you delete those files yourself.

9. Security

We design the app to keep work on-device. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Protect your phone with a screen lock, and be careful when sharing files.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
